hiiii so quick lil update thing i guess

tomorrow marks the start of the next semester and i guess it’s kinda obvious but i’m not particularly excited

nevertheless, if all goes according to plan it is the last one i have to do before i can finally kiss college goodbye, and by kiss goodbye i mean literally banish it to the shadow realm

so let’s just hurry up and get this thing wrapped up here eh

as far as art goes, i’m not sure if school will have any impact on my uploads this time around

i actually have zero clue how bad my workload is gonna be this time around but i’m hoping it’s at least not as bad as it’s been in the last two semesters

so yeah i dunno, we’ll see how it plays out

So, uh, this turned out to be a longer answer than I expected. Deep breath - here we go…..

Honestly, nah. I don’t see it happening again in the future.

For a very long time, my art was the only thing keeping me tied to MLP. I stopped genuinely caring about the show a long time ago - the only reason I’d really been keeping up was because I didn’t want to fall behind. The fandom stopped being interesting to me even before the show did, so apart from my own art and the art of others, I basically wasn’t really involved with that either.

About 6 months ago, I pretty much tired completely of drawing ponies. In the time I’ve spent since, drawing furry stuff - especially my own characters - has been so much more fun for me than ponies ever were, and drawing has always been about the fun factor for me. If it wasn’t fun, I wouldn’t be doing it, period.

MLP was undeniably a huge part of my life at one point, but it’s high time for me to move on - has been for a while, honestly.

I feel kind of bad because I should have been up front about this from the very beginning. Apologies to anyone who’s been putting up with my furry bullshit this whole time in hopes that I’d eventually go back to MLP - sorry, but it’s not gonna happen.

So yeah, if you originally followed me because of MLP and were expecting more, I wouldn’t hold it against you if you unfollowed me at this point. It saddens me a bit to think that there are probably a lot of people who only followed me because I drew MLP, but that’s just the way it goes, I guess. If you’re here because you like my art and want to see more, regardless of the subject - much appreciated. I’ll still be here.

I think I’m gonna crosspost this to my other galleries as well, because I’m willing to bet there’s more than a few people out there who are wondering when/whether or not there’s gonna be MLP stuff from me again. It’s about time I communicated this properly, I think.
