"The reaper is calling, for you to come home!"
Inspired by that one song by Children of Bodom.

Used a lot of dark colors at once, so I tried using more varying shades to make everything stand apart from each other.

Also tried foreshortening that arm, hope it doesn't look like a mutated skeletal structure.

Now watch as I post this and find a million billion mistakes over the next few hours!

Let me know what you think!

And happy Halloween Nightmare Night, everyone!

a good example that very dark can work the depth of shades are exemplary.

the glows are effective the form exelent the pose...really lures you in.

the mist is a nice touch.

takeing a futhra look, i whould recomened attension on ears (the ear seems to make impact on the hood.) and my call whould be that there is some missing cloack cloth (between her elbow and "hour glass zone") as the wind is medioaka and the cloak seems large and heavy (the cloak broach is staying still) the way her body is rotated by 45.0 inthe direction of our bottom left, then by the way it gos round her sholger it all implies that some of her cloack should be seeable at that area. wings seem a little flat.

note: i under a heavy bias and there for may be too stunned to give it the attension it deserves (serrisuly i spend 20mins stareing at this before even begining comenting).

what can i say it is a builtiful example of dark shadeing and even "ticks many boxes":iconajliarplz: (but not the scythe, but then it is themed.:iconnmmshrugplz:)

I am delighted looking apon this fine work. :iconlovestrucklunaplz:

You say you didn't give it the attention it deserves, but the level of observation and helpfulness of the critique here means you have actually exceeded most expectations. :3 Based on what you just said, you've looked a hell of a lot deeper into this than I imagine most others did. I appreciate that, thank you!

And having stared at it for 20 minutes beforehand doesn't count for anything, either? Cut yourself some slack, haha! :P

A THOUSAND brohoofs to you on your travels, sir!
